They have hundreds of pages even on small time cult leaders most people have never heard of. They're going to have tons on actual people who matter because it's their job to do so. The question isn't about what intelligence they have, it's about whether they'll act on it, and if they do, to what extent. I highly doubt the FBI or CIA will treat Trump the same way they treated MLK.

It's still pretty contentious, and the upcoming referendum is seen by a lot of people as a smokescreen to distract from the government cutting services and cancelling an independent audit of the territory's finances (Which would have likely uncovered a fair amount of corruption). I really just don't see it happening anytime soon, and that's without factoring in the Repulicans in Congress trying to block it.

Federal Income tax rates and anti-latino policies (the two big draws for GOP voters in the US) are off the table there, so their version of the Republicans have been pretty successful at territory-level politics.
