Many teams seem to be melting down at the end of the year. Inter Vecchi's press conference mentioned that while Inter is a good group, there are some players that absolutely don't deserve wearing the Inter jersey ever again. Hope Fiorentina can restart a new cycle like in 2012 with Montella but the current situation looks more like 2010 with Mihajlovic...

ADL announced that Mertens finally signed a contract extension. It has a €30m release clause, but it's only valid for teams in China. So in other words, Mertens will be playing in China a year from now.

Nice to see Scuffet back in the mix too. Ventura must have a hard on for Montolivo because he's only played two matches since returning from injury. Now's the time I guess, it is the "easiest" qualifier. I'd rather have Berardi or Balotelli (!) than Eder but Eder keeps coming up with goals for the national team so it's hard to complain. I'd like to see Chiesa and Conti at some point too. It's not a bad team, pretty good even.
