Reincarnated units are simply better than UEVOs (same for awoken units) unless you need the non-awoken/reincarnated version of their skill.

Hi everyone, can yall tell me why it would be retarded to buy D Athena and then run her with R Persephone and 3 Kakkabs and a wild card (probably Sephiroth or R Yomi). I didn't realize they'd given kakkab 3 TPAs. It seems to make too much sense.

The top five leaders all run a dark team, even the big 2, who happen to be technically green. Kushi, Diablos, Meliodas, Dathena, Anubis. Hell, Diaochan is up there to support a dark team.

She's also a good budget button for someone looking to set up their first button team. Unbindable, 8 CD, relatively easy to skill up, 100k also hits a few things that A.Ra can't do at 77k. Only downsides are a single SB and a slightly longer button animation.

Saying Diablos and Anubis run a dark team is kinda misleading. A lot of Anubis teams stack light and with Diablos it depends a lot on who you pair with. Yog-Sothoth is a top tier light team. Diara is not very popular but incredibly strong, especially with the unbindable badge and Diablos. Mitsune X in coop and Julie are strong blue leads, though Mitsune X is pretty similar to Anubis, where the optimal team probably runs a lot of off-color subs. Dark is definitely the most dominant color (as is often the case), but it's not too bad.

nothing in the game comes close to diablos teams now and haku is pretty bad for those teams since you want boards with hearts to trigger follow-up attack awakening.

Diablos is one of the best things that have happened to this game in a long time. A color-agnostic combo lead that pierces defense that you don't have to roll. It's difficult to beat not having to roll it. Shame the US will never get it (and Meliodas).

Even with a 7x6 board some of you are overestimating how many people can do that with any sort of regularity. If even 1% of PAD players can hit an 8+ combo more than 50% of the time I'd be shocked. Diablos is amazing for people who can actually use him but that unit has a skill requirement that, say, D.Athena (or Myr) isn't even close to having. e: Meliodas OTOH is just stupidly powerful: Dark attribute cards ATK x2.5, RCV x1.5. All attribute cards ATK x4, 25% all damage reduction when attacking with Fire, Water & Dark orb types at the same time. "Can you match 3 specific colors? If you aren't doing a 7 combo consistently with Meliodas, you aren't using him to his full potential (same goes for any team using Haku to be honest). Doing one more combo on a much bigger board isn't a tall order.
