Holy poo poo the endorphin rush of winning is amazing. Got that solo chicken. As you can see the circle focused on a completely empty stretch of beach. killed some guys randomly in the field beforehand. I went the whole round with a double barrel shotgun and an M4 with a 4x scope and no suppressor. killed another guy about 500m down the beach who was camping some rocks and saw me, that sucked because I'd been swimming, but I found a rock to stand on. sidled over here along the beach and nobody saw me. I took out guy #4 on the right, and finished off guy #3 on the left near another tiny shack who had been fighting guy #2. Guy #2 got eaten by the zone and I won. The game is massively about good positions and timing and you just need some guns that are "good enough" which usually means a rifle with some kind of scope.

Since I don't have a networking degree I didn't get to make obnoxious posts about whether lag is real or not, but you had better believe i WILL throw around my brief stint at Blizzard as a GM and say that "just add a report system and ban people who abuse it" is a very naive suggestion

you can't adjust the sights, you have to use the sight picture to gauge distance the first swoosh is the height of a standing man, the second a crouching man. the segments 1,2,3,4 represent hundreds of meters. pretty sure the center chevron is 200m but I've only used the VSS once so iono

I hate when teammates are so insistent on getting revived, especially if I'm being shot at already. What the gently caress do you expect me to do? Run out and expose myself to revive you so we can both end up dead? If I'm downed and it's a dangerous area, I'll tell my team to focus on getting rid of whoever it is shooting at us before trying to revive me. I've died countless times because rear end in a top hat teammates are all "Quick revive me I'm gonna die, there's enough time, it's safe!" when it clearly isn't, and then the line that takes the cake is when we both die and they say "Ah well, you tried". Cheers, rear end in a top hat. I told them that in the future, don't expect a revive if I think it's dangerous.

The vss is a fun gimmick weapon. I landed near military base garages and got a vss. Killed another lander and ran towards the storage building and hid in one of the bushes near the back door because i could hear someone coming. Realized someone was hiding in the bush right infront of me and killed him without alerting anyone else. Saw grimmz on his stream using it to harass people because you dont know where the shots are coming from. I wish all the guns showed the bullets like that so i could get better at sniping.
