Probably just figured he'd be banned by the league/in jail by the following year. Gotta trap that Colorado non fiction hockey market while it lasts.

What was it about a Sato winning it last night that bothered him so much? Michael Schumacher has won plenty of races at the Indianapolis Speedway. Hideki Matsui was a World Series MVP. Mario Andretti was born in Italy during WW2 and he, his son and his grandson have all won the Indy 500. They're the closest thing to an American noble family there is. What a weird, racist dude.

I'm pretty sure this is the reason Barclay's is considering kicking out the Islanders, too.

There's plenty of nights when the Isles are on the road that that building is dark. Very doubtful they'd make more money by evicting a tenant

ThinkTank posted:Why did they think it necessary to write a book about one season of Patrick Roy's coaching? That's a really dumb thing to write. I can almost sorta see what he was trying to convey though, assuming the apology is more fact than retcon. Strong emotional ties to his father and some unresolved stuff from WW2 ally/wnemy categorizing that got stirred up for no valid reason. I believe him when he says he was uncomfortable on Sunday afternoon, as in legit feeling mental discomfort. Of course he shouls have spoken to a good friend or a counselor or something, and not tweeted bigotry to the general public. Oh well.

Somebody should make a counter to figure out how many people with public profiles have either killed or damaged their career by saying something racist/sexist/homophobic on social media. poo poo, the amount of people in sports journalism alone would probably be staggering. Did Ben Bishop sign his contract with the Stars yet?
