I called the closest BN to me and the guy was like "oh it's not even in the system yet." I was tempted to chance it and look for myself but gently caress wasting a trip up there if I can wait a few days and get it at the Lego store. Would liked to have built it this afternoon tho

The second store I went to had two out on the floor. When I grabbed one, somebody told me they had just put it out 5 minutes ago. I also picked up the Adventure Time set and Batman BrickHeadz. Looks like I'll have something to build during the Stanley Cup Finals! Being able to focus on a big Lego set like this should help me keep my anxiety down.

Wal-Mart had some half-off build a figures and I snagged the most excellent K2SO for $15 CAD. Pretty "complex" build IMO - I've never done one before - but the end result was amazing. I don't know if i'd get this in any other character - maybe Grevious if I could ever find/pay up for him.

I cannot decide if I'm into the Ultimate Batmobile or not. It's pretty cool as a whole but the vehicles in their own feel like they'd be a little underbaked. The reviews for the Ultimate Batmobile look promising. The vehicles seem to stand on their own pretty well. They do come apart kind of easy though, and the batwing is smaller so it might be easier for a kid to play with

Got the new Lego catalog. Noticed a nice little bonus to waiting until 6/1 to order the SV: you get a travelers minifigure that comes in a suitcase with a couple other odds and ends. E: also after seeing the getaway racer up above I found it at target for $15 so I grabbed it. Pretty cool little car.

The little motorcycle is kind of 'meh' but the way it slots into the main vehicle is very cool. The tank thing is kind of weird but contains a hilarious amount of firepower. Overall the entire thing is pretty sturdy. It's more of a road train or a tank than a street vehicle, but it's a lot of fun. And the Bat Signal is pretty cool. It has a light brick and will actually cast a bat insignia onto a wall.
