Just played a game with two streamers and I was the final one left standing (still died). That was the best game I've had and it was really fun. Fantastic Jason that round.

OK so, if you rolled back and it freezes up, I have found a fix. Go to Users\<username>\AppData\Local\SummerCamp\Saved and just put the SaveGames folder somewhere... else, and then start the game. I am assuming it's pulling the save data again from the servers so you might lose some progress but it is better than nothing.

Played as Adam with 2 weapon perks for speed and power. I fucken kicked Jason's rear end. Popped him 4 times with an axe escorting people out to the cops. Feels good man.

I added gas to the boat and wandered off to look for stuff, then I got an additional popup for points for repairing the boat fully, which alerted me to the fact that somebody else put in the propeller. I ran over and the two of us escaped pretty early into the match. Are you supposed to know when somebody else finishes the repair?

Jason's grab only considers the grab successful when he presses the button, so that leaves around 1 second to swing into the grab animation which will always hit him. EDIT: also, Jason attacks are pretty telegraphed to the point if you walk back a bit, then talk forward in one motion you can hit him while he recovers from his whiff.

You say this but I don't think you been in one of my lobbies. When you do, you gonna feel the Adam + Buggzy pain train. Edit: but it is true, Jason is naturally better at combat than counselors but with the right perks counselors can fight Jason 1v1 effectively. I have 16% increase to attack speed perk and at 20% it is the same speed as Jason attack animation. Anyone want to give some protips on playing AJ? I've got stealth perks on her and still get murdered from anywhere on the map. I do not believe stealth works in this game.

When you're jogging, look at your map, you'll notice an expanding bubble as you move around, that's the noise you make and the blips Jason sees, in the case of AJ heres fill out the slowest but never the less still fill out, compared to a 1/10 character in stealth and even walking for them makes noise. Basically no matter what you'll get heard, stealth works to a point but no more beyond that.

Unlocked Tiffany today, I think shes my favorite character now. Speed + Stealth is great, she can ghost around the map for days. Is there a way to tell which house has the phone box other than just physically running around each house you see?

If you're trying to juke around Jason that's your problem. Just start backing up. You can back all the way to the exit if you want to, there's really nothing Jason can do about it as long as you don't get impatient and try to drive past him. If he *teleports behind u* just start driving forward. It's another Jason missed his grab but my guy swung in the opposite direction so I get to watch my friends play for 19 minutes episode.

i mean yeah if you're on a road where you can back to an exit then sure that's a great solution. any competent jason is going to hear the car starting and drop into a spot where there's only one exit. he won't teleport behind you in that case. probably at least half of the car vs jason matchups i see are on pathways where the survivors are caught in a dead end.

i think you're on a good luck streak, then. the last 3 groups of cats i ran into that tried to off-road when i backed them into a corner had the following experiences: 1) backed the car onto a too-steep hill, killed the momentum, allowing me to smash the hood. they all died. 2) got hung up on a stump they couldn't see because it was too short, high centered it on the rear bumper, got the car marked as 'destroyed'. they all died. 3) literally backed into a stone wall with nowhere else to go, allowing me to smash the hood. they all died. i am by no means a great jason, either.

It's still better to attempt to go off-road or back up halfway across the map if you have to. This can get tricky but anything is better than immediately letting Jason stop the car from the front. Last time I drove the guy playing Jason morphed right in the middle of the road in front of me. I risked veering into the forest, slowly and carefully wove through three trees and got back on the road once I got past Jason. He tried to shift in front of me but he was too slow on the uptake and there was nothing he could do after that. Edit: What's the status of the patch that screwed the game for some people? I've got a 1.9 GB update queued and I don't know if I should download it and do the settings files deletion thing or just shelve the game for a day or two. I heard there us a fix for the bad rollback patch but gently caress it my game is working fine. Ain't ever going to dl a patch from them without waiting to see if it works.

I downloaded the patch after the revert message tonight (wouldn't let me start the game otherwise) and had zero problems playing a half dozen games with friends. I think you're good.
