Is the DLC worth buying? I'm on Act 4 and enjoying things so far! First time selecting casual mode on a fire emblem game ever but I didn't really need to thanks to milas turnwheel, I want this mechanic in every fire emblem game now, so much better than redoing a whole chapter!

Most of the dlc is grinding or overpowered 4th tier classes. Theres prologue story dlc but that costs 13 bucks.

Made atlas an archer and gave him an iron bow so he has the curved arrow art, so he can always do a single long ranged strong hit. Not bad for a guy with no speed or skill

Palla is one of the best characters if you're not specifically grinding, and Est takes a lot of work. Palla does what Falcoknights need to do with less investment. That said I personally think Saber and Kamui outclass her.

Erm, Est's bases are equal to or greater than Palla's bases, other than Attack. Frankly, if it's between the two initial whitewings, it seems like Catria's better, who has the best bases of all 3 of them, being better in every department than Palla except Strength (by 1 point) (And a point of Def, I think), and better in every department than Est except Res (Which Est completely demolishes almost everyone in anyway)

Catria is the least worst of the peg knights i guess. Although clair has a monopoly on good lances and she doesn't have to deal with dreadfighters nearly as much.

The real 'problem' with Est is the level differential between you getting her and her being able to promote in order to get that sweet, sweet Falcon Knight base HP and Def stats.

The enemies can generally be divided into 2 categories, slow af enemies (Arcanists, Witches, Necrodragons) that can be doubled at Falcoknight base Spd and fast af enemies (Dread Fighters, Gargoyles) that none of the sisters can double without heavy grinding. Her higher Atk also means she can more reliably orko Necrodragons with a forged Blessed Lance, and armored Terrors with some investment/lucky Atk procs, and that's her weight in gold. Catria has 30% Str growth while Palla has 60%. Catria looks like she has better stats, since her Skl, Lck, and Spd are all higher, but they're a little superfluous because Skl and Lck don't matter as much as Str and she doesn't double anything more than Palla with her higher Spd. Plus Palla reaches promo faster. That's not to say Catria is bad, both of them are high-tier units, but Palla is better in the aspects that are more important. Est could be better than Palla with grinding, she just comes in too late. Level 3 with 9 base Atk when you're on the way to the end of Act 3 doesn't cut it. Again, assuming minimal grinding.

The 2-3 range REALLY hurts it because whoever's holding it is going to be targeted by enemy phase all day. Catria did not have a time. Also anything that's 70 or less accuracy is pretty rear end.
