A sad state of affairs. the problem with warren is that she's a technical specialist. she is the absolute best in one subject matter and that one subject matter happens to be incredibly important and relevant. unfortunately she is not nearly as good at anything beyond her one area of expertise and it shows. she toes the party line a lot and i wonder how much of it is because her one area of expertise is already on the knife's edge of acceptable democratic positions.

Female trump probably takes some of the edge off his worst sensibilities as well. BTW, in Shattered, Hillary actually reportedly had someone who did a wonderful trump impression to do mock debates with her, but she took the wrong lesson from it, I think. She wasn't rattled, but she didn't change her approach at all. She just did what she was going to do. Had she actually responded to the weird poo poo trump did in the debates, even if it's just an exasperated look or a glare, it might have put him on the defensive and rattled him, but she chose to just let him do his thing which made it just seem zany. My favorite part of the reenactment is when some Hillfolk still double down after seeing the performance. Vague comments about how women are socialized to smile, which, okay, on that sub-issue you're not wrong in a general sense, but individual people, whether women or men, figure out how to control their body language so as to appear human. Clinton always seemed dreamy, reserved, and ironic, like she couldn't believe that anybody could reasonably expect her to defend herself, or even to promote herself. HILLARYYYYY

the sad thing is there are goons that have fallen for it even though you'd think that being a goon would give you the requisite knowledge necessary that some russian malware on some election official's computer in florida is not evidence that putin personally called up some shady russian mob fucks in siberia to remotely infect someone's computer and even if they did how do you expect to influence the outcome of an election with spyware on a computer
