I mean I don't know much about boxing, but I had always heard that Tyson was a fine worker and his punch is legendary, but once Cus D'Amato died and he fell fully into King he stopped trying to dodge and would just try to out clobber guys.

I think Ali is absolutely the most important athlete of the 20th century and solidified the role of athlete as social advocate, but I do not think he influenced the culture of sports as much as Jordan did. You see a lot more athletes selling shoes than protesting wars

Also in best ever arguments I like to go with a starting lineup to avoid the positional stuff. Magic at point, Jordan at 2, Lebron at 3. I'd have to think about 4, man there are a few PFs I really like and i don't know which one to pick. I'd personally go with Kareem at center but I could understand people arguing for a few guys there too.
