Now, if they're willing to strip the right of municipalities to set their wage floor and centralize it in the State capital, what makes you think they won't use the Federal government to clobber states they don't like? California is big enough that they can usually influence the whole nation (remember Californian emissions). So you can be certain pharmaceuticals and hospital systems will be against it, but the Feds don't care.
