Unfortunately for everyone involved, he won. In the interest of saving face/keeping the Trump brand strong she agreed to keep up appearances while hes in office. Of course, this works out well for her since they apparently already have a signed agreement that she gets to live in his house and gently caress his buddies all she wants lmao

Watched a like 10 second clip where Hillary got asked if she would run in 2020 and she said "Nah". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxfPQGXFFC4 So I went to go look if there were any articles about it to post here and I found this: http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/10/12/hillary-clinton-says-she-wont-run-for-president-again/ Then I looked at the date.

That and the fact that Obama's economic gains didn't really help ease the economic anxieties of the working class and she was blithely promising more of the same orderly decline into desperation didn't help. This is not exactly a hmbol but a savage and well-written takedown nonetheless: http://lithub.com/rebecca-solnit-the-loneliness-of-donald-trump/ (Better title obviously would have been "The LOL-ness of Donald Trump.") quote:A true tyrant does not depend on cooperative power but has a true power of command, enforced by thugs, goons, Stasi, the SS, or death squads. A true tyrant has subordinated the system of government and made it loyal to himself rather than to the system of laws or the ideals of the country. This would-be tyrant didn’t understand that he was in a system where many in government, perhaps most beyond the members of his party in the legislative branch, were loyal to law and principle and not to him. His minion announced the president would not be questioned, and we laughed. He called in, like courtiers, the heads of the FBI, of the NSA, and the director of national intelligence to tell them to suppress evidence, to stop investigations and found that their loyalty was not to him. He found out to his chagrin that we were still something of a democracy, and that the free press could not be so easily stopped, and the public itself refused to be cowed and mocks him earnestly at every turn.

"So, Donald Trump never ripped off laborers" "Nope." *presents mountain of evidence; interviews, court documents, etc etc* "That's all a lie." middle-class republicans have the craziest amount of cognitive dissonance; you can go through a checklist of things they individually believe and they will share a ton of opinions with democrats - they believe that education shouldn't be $100k worth of debt burden, they believe that people shouldn't be bankrupted by a heart attack, they believe that people with pre-existing conditions should have access to healthcare, they believe that the lower and middle classes should get more tax breaks than rich people. but as soon as you attach those values to a democrat they're all "Uhhh I am not going to vote for a loving liberal" and they're back to voting for assholes again.
