In the lifecycle of a country, isn't this the part where its poorest and stupidest emigrate and work their asses off to make a better future for their children, who within a generation or two will return to recolonize the homeland with a smarter form of government and cooler guns? Also D&D is totally welcome here / in this thread, I'm just worried they have an inferiority complex with respect to how much we're heroes and they're not.

OK so Trump's Muslim ban, some things I'm trying to figure out. If memory serves it was a "temporary pause" of 90 days while we made america great and safe again by doing whatever idiotic brain droppings oozed out of his word-hole, right? We're past his hundred day mark in office so what the gently caress has he been doing for those 90 days if things aren't great and safe yet? Like, what am I missing here that isn't "gently caress you muslims because you're brown"? What would he have done that necessitated the "temporary" totally not-racist ban that he hasn't been able to do without it?

So I drove like halfway across the country today. I listened to Trevor Noah's book about his life in South Africa. It was amazing. You should all read it, or better still, listen to him narrate the audio book. It had me literally crying in parts.
