Old Town Road to EGOT

Dougie being obsessed with coffee is legitimately one of the best things I've ever seen from this show :allears: I was laughing like a maniac when he kept chugging it down. And that entire meeting. Good god, I love Dougie so much. Every scene with him is just pure comedy.

And drat son, Dougie's leaving a trail of destruction in his wake, possibly unintentionally (?), what with getting the casino owner fired and those guys blown up in his car. And possibly getting his coworker in trouble too. But at least he learned the word "agent" and he's one step closer to remembering who he is now.

Dr. Jacoby being Alex Jones but even crazier :stare: :stare: :stare: Hahahaha I love how nutty he is.

What the gently caress did Doppelcoop do? What did he activate in Argentina?

Also, y'all don't need to spoil things that have already aired on TV, you know. It's only a spoiler if it hasn't been released yet.

Jacoby's shovel scam is the best payoff for that mystery I could've hoped for.

Just a humble motherfucker with a big ass dick
Can't say I was expecting "Dr. Amp's Gold poo poo-digging Shovels" to be the answer to Jacoby's mysterious shovel sub-plot. That was goddamn perfect. And of course Jerry and Nadine are intently glued to their screens watching it. That made it all the more great.

This episode felt a lot more like classic Twin Peaks than the previous four episodes. Frankly, I think we needed it. I'm digging everything about this so far.

I dunno the scenes that recall the old TP vibe feel forced.

There just seems to be too many characters and it's suffocating the episodes a bit.

How do you feel about the number of locations?

I think Lynch drove by too many Twin Peaks Restaurants near Vegas and said "let's have most of the show take place here instead!"

LOL. Yeah I guess we could include the locations too.

But the bizarre thing is after watching Episode 5 it seems like all the loose threads are slowly starting to come together, but then we get a new puzzle piece that doesn't fit yet like the what's in Argentina and a few of the new characters.

This is the logical conclusion for Dr Jacoby.

Also, Mike Nelson was listed in the credits- was he the dude who gave the interview?

Yeah, I assumed as much after I saw that it was Argentina. And Albert said in the last episode that he told Philip Jefferies where their man in Argentina was and that guy died days later.

Did the statue Coop stands next to in ep5 look like Bowie to anyone else? Definitely don't think it's a Jeffries related thing, but thought it looked really similar to Bowie.

I love the implication that Jacoby only made 5 gold shovels because that's probably all the viewers he has.
