So I'm looking at Hulk and his attributes and the only things I see that kind of fit this are Fighting (+.5% crit rating multiplier per rank) and Intelligence (+ Crit rating, lvl x rank in attribute). These coincide with what you said about crit rating being important, so I should gear for these attributes? If so I need to replace a ton of stuff, but I kind of assumed I would anyway.

As far as gear goes, are hero specific uniques often BIS? Or are there a ton of "any hero" uniques that generally beat them out? With so many heroes I'd guess the answer is yes either way depending on which hero you're talking about.

Midtown would be good but the Anniversary Leaderboards aren't active until at least noon tomorrow because Gaz gotta Gaz. Otherwise, it feels like regular mobs drop them more often than bosses. Would recommend farming once the leaderboards are actually up.

The splinters are good if you want some more characters or a few more ranks in your ult. The year 3 cake has boss artifacts and the year 4 has cosmic boss artifacts. If you're playing in a cosmic zone, you'll probably get a couple of cosmic artifacts by the time you get enough for a year 4 cake.

So I've hit level 40 as the Punisher and did one of those trials to go up a difficulty tier (originally thought they unlocked at end game...). Is this like Diablo where I should keep increasing the difficulty when I'm comfortable, or should I wait until level 60 before farting with anything higher than Heroic?

I'm just chucking grenades, explosives, nerve gas and flames everywhere. Having fun.

I can't say for PS4 but on the PC you go up to Heroic as soon as you can because the difficulty jump is almost immediately removed by the much better items and almost double xp you get.

I think they are both considered good, you dont see the cake because the vendor is bugged right now, presumably it will be fixed.

i am gonna assume you are on ps4 and not the completely abandoned and obsolete version of the game

trials unlock for each character at level 11, and i reccomend unlocking and playing on heroic as soon as possible. you may need to grind a tiny bit on some characters to be able to finish the trial.

the very good characters (hulk, she hulk, iron fist, any of the good ranged characters i have not touched) can do the super heroic trial in the 30s or 40s, depending on the character. i will say though that, for leveling characters, heroic is fine. even characters that can do super heroic trial easy i'd still play on heroic just cause i kill way faster. if you cannot unlock super heroic until into the 50s or even 60s, don't sweat it.

first off, in case anyone is unaware, relics and medallions don't bind on ps4, so feel free to switch em around like mad.

i keep a 100 stack of both the ranged and melee dr relics for leveling characters and trade away all my other 100 stacks. i think the defense relic actually may be overall the best just because 2000 (or is it 1600) defense is a TON at level 20 and is still a significant amount 60. probably smartest just to keep a stack of defense for leveling characters so you can have defense and just focus on itemizing damage.

dodge and deflect relics are pretty lovely because lol dodge and deflect are objectively worse than defense rating but still drop with the same potential ranges why is gaz so loving bad at numbers. i mean they still have "health on enemy defeat" values that are like 1/3 of "health on hitting an enemy" values.

but yeah, my tier list for ps4 relics is defense=melee=ranged>spirit>deflect>dodge

i'd give spider man dodge one and captain america deflect one cause they have skills that benefit from them but i don't know if i'd put them on anyone else

yes, the ps4 is not a direct port but rather a different version of the game. it may be best to think of it as a reset button on the bloated, worthless mess that was the pc version. it is a chance to make a better game.

also future fight only qualifies as a video game in the loosest possible sense of the term
