Turns out because it's a pretty looking pile of garbage with some hot beats.

As promised, here's some Toejam and Earl 2: The levels are super repetitive and most of the enemies are not compelling to fight...which makes the major gimmick of the game all the more intolerable since you are forced to hunt down and fight every. loving. enemy. The "puzzles" are completely nonsensical and usually boil down to using the funk scan to find what magic pixel you need to touch to make something happen. It's almost as if the designers' idea of a puzzle was "frustrating trial and error bullshit". It does, however, have styyyyyyyyle but hot beats and good animations only go so far. The charm wears off pretty quickly the third time they reuse the same tile set. To top it off, they went out of their way to make the enemies have as many annoying sound clips as possible. gently caress my childhood, this game is Not Good. Submitted video evidence:  Part 1/?  Let's Check Out Children of Zodiarcs (Beta) Children of Zodiarcs blends standard SRPG mechanics with traditional tabletop elements like cards and dice to make an interesting and unique strategy game. I got access to the beta last week and thought I'd show off some story and mission stuff, since I really like the game and would like for others to see how cool it is. Not quite an LP but there's no Let's Try thread so I thought this might as well go here.

.png) Supercontinent Ltd. This is a full playthrough of a Ludum Dare game, based on the theme "ancient technology". In it, you are a high tech future cyberpunk hacker who has to go old school to dig up the dirt. It's very short, full of typos, and really cool.

On September 27, 2015, dotchan started the FFT Five Job Fiesta Megathread. It survived for 6 months, then dotchan closed the thread. I took part in the fiesta, with the RNG assigning me Knight as my starting Job, then adding Monk. I wasn't able to finish it. Here's what I was able to do.  Update 1: Knight Moves Update 2: I Like The Knight Life, Baby! Update 3: Saturday Knight's Alright For Fighting Update 4: Rock & Roll All Knight Update 5: Goodknight Sweetheart I had a list of other Night > Knight songs that were never to see the light of day: Lynyrd Skynyrd: Saturday Night Special Van Halen: Dance The Night Away AC/DC: You Shook Me All Night Long DeBarge: The Rhythm of the Night The Kinks: All Day And All Of The Night Slaughter: Up All Night Cinderella: Night Songs CCR: Hey Tonight Patti Smith: Because The Night Phil Collins: In The Air Tonight Judas Priest: Livin' After Midnight Scorpions: Big City Nights Monty Python's Spamalot: Knights Of The Round Table/The Song That Goes Like This (Reprise) With that run done, I decided to take advantage of dotchan allowing us to make our own themes for runs, and came up with what I call the Final Fantasy Tactics Five Job Fiesta: OmniClassic. I have now completed my Final Fantasy Tactics Five Job Fiesta: OmniClassic run. Here it is, in all it's glory(?).  Let's Play Gundam 0079: The War for Earth Today, FutureFriend, Jay and I decided to watch a replay of the first Gundam game to be made in English, and the second ever Gundam media to hit the Western market, after the original novel trilogy. It's a combination of FMV with quicktime events and 3D portions of FPS-style gameplay that the game itself omits from its replays. The localization is spotty and the acting is hammy, so there's plenty to enjoy with Gundam 0079: The War for Earth!

 It is the oughts, and there is time for Neopets. This game came out in 2005, and it's just real real bad. Please join me, The Heavenator and Friend Robot as we remember Neopets and slowly die.
