So I got in my car, drove home, grabbed my polling card and went to vote. As I left the polling station, some fat gently caress with a Tory rosette asked if it was a "good day". Two hours later, we switched my dad's ventilator off and then I went down the pub and got loving shitfaced. Labour being up 2-0 and an exit poll telling May to go gently caress herself and a parent not dying makes this the best election... unless I wake up in the morning to the Tories having 400 seats in which case this is the absolute worst I'm glad things are better for you this year op

Boris Johnson is my favourite British politician tbh. I had some beers at the King's Head today and I talked to a cute girl about how she was torn between voting with her heart and voting strategically and I told her to go with her heart because strategy didn't work out for us yanks
