Yeah the number of bans is pretty much a huge change for finals. Should be cool. The Qualifying tournament is kind of nice but holy gently caress doing that only a month out is a bit WTF too. I wish I had the ability to do a newbie stream concurrent with the matches like they do for Dota 2 but broadcasting from a PC Cafe seems more hassle than it's worth.

I mean, it was pretty much necessary to deal with how strong Vexor hulls and Guristas ships were this time last year, but going back to allowing tech 2s is definitely gonna shake things up

ICYMI this year for ATXV CCP have changed things up by implementing a Feeder Round (also known as a qualifier tournament) where 56 different alliances will battle it out to earn one of 8 spots in the main Alliance Tournament 15 bracket. I bought a month of Omega for my second account (which just ran out). Having another toon to carry your ore while you mine so you don't have to dock up and unload makes a WORLD of difference. I actually stripped an entire belt of omber by myself in a T1-fit Procurer in roughly two hours. The life of a carebear.
