Bit annoying on the face of it though that votes for Leftish parties is a fair bit higher than conservative parties, but FPTP means a wobbly Tory government still, albiet one that's may need to stay in the common market.

The higher taxes, higher minimum wage, nationalised Railway isn't happening any time soon despite this being on the face of it a good result.

orange booker attachment to it was always wavering. they're not virulently opposed but they buy the new labour argument that higher intakes are better than free tuition

if you take the LD narrative as given, i.e. that they gave it up for AV, then with AV they would also no longer be dependent on university towns for their seats and could survive a student revolt. unfortunately, as we know they got neither.
