And that would be perfectly fine and good, since Bernie would still torpedo the TPP, veto their poo poo bills, go public as necessary to hurt the worst ones, and hopefully use the DoJ to bulldog the worst of the corporate bad actors

I was an ardent Bernie supporter and I knew from day one that he would accomplish nothing thanks to congress. I liked him because he was a decent human being and while he would make no forward progress, giving him a veto power would have at least protected America from any particularly evil legislation going through. He wouldn't have been a sword used to get what we want, but rather a shield to protect what still have. I really do wonder whether Hillary would have been better than Trump. We'll never know. Sometimes I think while President Trump is a bad thing, on the plus side, the guy has no clue what he's doing and also has no verbal filter, and thus will live tweet out everything stupid and corrupt he does for the whole world to see. Hillary would also do really shady stuff that would hurt the American people greatly, but she would do it behind closed doors while well-off liberals who have no idea what life is like for the working class blindly sing her praises.

He's also getting people to actually pay attention to politics again instead of just jerking off about the first x President like the past 8 years. They're still retarded and mostly dancing to the media's tune, but it's a start. And also causing the corporate-controlled media to constantly self-own and show what pathetic trash they've become. And splitting the Republican party. He took down TPP and hopefully fucks up NAFTA too. He's causing a potentially major upset in the labor market as his tough talk scares away illegal labor. The list goes on. So far, the Trump administration has mostly exceeded my expectations.

Obama shut his networks down promptly after winning so he was actively opposed to it. Maybe it would've worked, who knows!
