I'm into it. It's gonna be real hard rooting against Michael B Jordan though.

Michael B. Jordan's look is loving fantastic, not to mention the myriad other costumes that show up. Screenshots of this are gonna be amazing. The music is also pretty inspired.

Only Lupita, Sinead, Patrick Stewart, and Amber Rose have ever been able to pull of the nearly bald look so well.

I didn't see Forest Whitaker or Angela Basset in there anywhere. Did I miss them or maybe saving them for later?

Hyped for Black Panther.

I find it funny that that's called a "teaser" when like that would play as a full trailer just fine without giving away the entire story or anything.

That was pretty intense, huh?

My biggest gripe with the trailer is that a lot of the costumes and sets kinda look like they were pulled straight from Thor and Guardians of the Galaxy. Not saying they don't look great or anything, just that they're not distinct and share a of lot visual cues from previous films when I feel like they should be unique.

Like the design of those guards in the back look like they could from Asgard.

So clearly they chose a hip-hop song because it's fitting and Run the Jewels is dope as hell and great trailer music in general, but does anyone else think it's kinda funny that the one actual vocal line from the song was from the white half of RTJ?

Yes, look at the armor.

Which kinda looks like a mishmash between Wolverine's look in DOFP and the chest armor/jetpack Rocket designed in GOTG2.

I like Michael B Jordan's look with the trenchcoat better.

While I liked the whole look of everything and costumes and whatnot, everything looks like it's on a stage - I don't know how else to describe it. Just kinda flat, does that make sense?

Yeah. It's a pretty consistent feature of the MCU, despite everything other technical aspect being about as good as anyone is capable of.

It's bland, but serviceable. I'll always criticize that stylistic choice, but that doesn't ever stop me from actually enjoying (most) MCU films.

It does look very flat. Everything's shot in two or three distinct layers.

I'm assuming that's what it will be in the MCU once this movie's story is done.
