Especially these teachers. They're under a principal who's a real, genuine shitheel who would rather show up one day a week than give a half of the smallest rat's rear end about the kids. Because he doesn't show up, he's had to hire an assistant principal (something the school's never had before) and had to fire two of the behavior teachers. Now when the kids misbehave in class, they're just sent to the office where they can sit and color in coloring books for a whole class instead of going to a class room with behavior teachers. All the kids have picked up on this so now they're basically all uncontrollable and their principal doesn't loving care. Makes me wanna be a principal because any principal who shows up is gonna be better than that sack of poo poo.

It's an exciting day off for me! I drove around looking at used car lots to see if any had old trucks. Didn't see any. just a '02 F150 going for $11k at a buy-here/pay-here. I did come across a 90 F250 with a 7.3 diesel for sale on the side of the road. I hear that should be able to pull a mountain up a larger mountain, albeit at a low rate of speed. Anything I should know about those in case I call on it later today?

I also picked up a set of manifold gauges and a can of R134. I've read Motronic's threads and think it all makes sense. Hopefully a recharge will take my Outback's AC from 'eventually cool' to 'wife is too cold before we leave the parking lot' and I don't window the compressor or anything stupid.

I did DD-grade centric rotor/pad kits with ceramic pads (Posi-Quiet iirc) from RockAuto and it was cheaper than Amazon with Prime. I don't see the kits anymore though. So far so good. Haven't run into anything and they're quiet and not dusty.

Thanks. Yeah, looks like the only kits Rock has are the Power Stop, which aren't too bad - DD is &170, + $44 shipping. Less than (cheap) rotors alone from O'Reilly's.
i'd like zinc of black coated rotors because I hate rust, but I can paint them if I need to. I will admin that I actually want cross-drilled rotors purely for the appearance, too. I'm bad, I know.

Cop Porn Popper posted:

The brakebest rotors are one of the tiers of raybestos rotors, whichever ones mimic the OE rotor material exactly along with vane construction, etc. The pads I've gotten varying answers, but all responses were bosch, centrix or wagner and I have seen a few very old wagner boxes rebranded brakebest. Fwiw, outside of an insanely finicky customer or two, I don't get complaints about gold box ceramic pads we sell.

Now what I'm disappointed to hear is that they didn't try to sell you the fancy carbon metallic PFC pads since its a cop car. They come in a hilariously overbuilt box lined with foam padding thats worth bringing out just for the reaction to it.

Cool.
I'm looking on the website. I usually know what I want to get before I go in, just so I can shoot that poo poo down.

Depression surging again and I'm doing my best to fight through it. Replaced my center brake light which has been dead since I got the car, I had a mild hope it would make my abs light go out but no dice. AZ i guess can't read abs codes either, so I guess I'll have to get them read at a shop; I've been meaning to get the alignment checked anyway, car drives fine but the front tires were a little chopped when I got it.

Man, I wanna make something but I have no problems that need solving. I've been thinking about getting a lawn more engine and converting it to efi with an arduino, just for a challenge.

It's definitely the line, and not the fuel pump? The plastic fittings on the pump itself are known to crack (GM paid to replace my fuel pump for that exact reason, but they only do that in southern states - it was dripping gas from the top of the tank toward the front).

If it's the line.. yeah have fun.

No, there isn't, but the RV/camping thread usually catches those.

If you ask in here, you'll just get a lot of noise about "why do you even need a pickup?", and be encouraged to buy a crown vic for its towing capabilities.

Not really, it's more that the used market on them is so ridiculous you'd be pretty dumb to buy one if you don't really need it.

It's old, and the wheels are prone to cracking and are disposable, but it's a super solid and nice bike for $350. Worst case, throw some $150 Shimano wheels on it and run it forever.

Well, if it was my size I'd consider it, but thinking about it, we probably need to get her more of a city bike... she doesn't have that much experience riding bicycles so throwing her on that right off the bat would be a little hardcore.

Nothing in the near future, but my buddy is selling some E30ix basketweaves and it got me thinking. Especially since I could get 14" on the front and 15" on the rear for extra race inspired cosmetics

E: I misunderstood your question. I've been looking for classic cromodoras, especially Trons, but they're all $600 and up for a set once shipping gets added on

Keep in mind iX wheels have a different offset than regular E30 basketweaves. 21mm on i/is/e/es/etc and 41mm on the ix but easily fixed with a 20mm spacer.

iX offset = 41mm non-iX offset = 21mm
