Okay, then you know the whole story.

I'm not interested in convincing anyone their take is wrong, and even more not interested in pillorying Hillary. The only current event is, a lot of people are having bizarre arguments about it online.

Well, that might underestimate the influence of the governor and his wife.

as the world turns
Private prisons are our fault in the general "our" sense.

The general idea is that we don't want to pay high enough taxes to fund the poo poo state and local governments do and we want to be TOUGH ON CRIME at the same time. We can't have little Brayden play in a public park where there could be former felons! But housing prisoners is expensive as hell.

So, something's gotta give. In comes Corrections Corporation of America and they'll take those expensive prisoners off your hands for a huge discount! The state is happy because they don't face budget crises, a new corporation makes money, and taxes stay lower. Sure, people complain about sentencing reform, but that new corporation can lobby Congress to neutralize that! Sure prison conditions are inhumane, but who the gently caress cares about prisoners? They're criminals and shouldn't have been criminals in the first place! Oh and gently caress the underpaid prison guards, they should learn how to do a job that pays more and do something better with their lives.

It's the American Way. To cut costs there's now a corporation literally profiting off crime. Thus, why I feel I'll everytime I see the Keebler Klansman because he wants MORE of this poo poo.

The 47-year-old was on a practice run for a race in an electric car for Amazon Prime show The Grand Tour.

Mr Hammond "climbed out of the car himself before the vehicle burst into flames," the show said in a statement.

Co-host Jeremy Clarkson tweeted that it was the "most frightening" accident he had ever seen but said Mr Hammond was "mostly OK".

The show's statement said: "Richard Hammond was involved in a serious crash after completing the Hemburg Hill Climb in Switzerland in a Rimac Concept One, an electric super car built in Croatia, during filming for The Grand Tour Season 2 on Amazon Prime, but very fortunately suffered no serious injury."

Mr Hammond, who has a fractured knee, was "conscious and talking" after the crash, the show said.
