In the new season of Twin Peaks something horrible happens almost immediately after every time you have the required "Showtime Boobs" shots and I've heard guys getting really upset about booby scenes being ruined with gore and horror. In wypipo stay racist news, this week Very Famous and Wealthy Black Person Lebron James' house was spray painted with a racist slur (no prize for guessing which slur it was), and a noose was found inside the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History (just a few days after another noose was found on a tree outside the nearby Hirshhorn museum). In case any white liberals still feel like we're living in a post-racial society.

I've only seen him twice but I didn't think anyone actually enjoyed him. He seemed extremely abrasive and devoid of compassion. Entirely unsure as to why he's a 'liberal' host when his manner is much more conservative.

New girlfriend and I were out (she's white though technically half hispanic) couch shopping looking for a sectional. We went to the first place, and a black dude greeted us, then effectively kept his distance far far away and was little to no help, but at the end mumbled a couple things and gave us his card. So after shopping at like 10 places we decide to go back to the first place we went to to get that couch cause it was awesome. I was telling her on the way I'm glad Tylon is going to get the assist on this one. She's like nfw we can't give it to Tylon he didn't do anything. I was like yeah but still Tylon is black he gets the assist. We met in the middle and Tylon got half the commission for effectively doing nothing but she was getting heated over it. Luckily it's cool and nobody really cared but still I mean yall would give Tylon the commission in this situation even though he did jack poo poo to earn it right? Gotta help out the community and all.

I am prolly one of the few black/multiracial members of the Southern Baptist church and it makes me so happy that the leadership is finally moving into the 21st century. I was lucky enough to go to a church with pastors who weren't racist pieces of poo poo but man some of the congregation were awful. Luckily my fellow youth group folks back then were alright.

Rachel Dolezal has always confused me, and I never quite know how to feel about it. It's cultural appropriation to the highest degree, but she got started on that path when Harvard gave her a scholarship because they had thought she was black, (due to doing a lot of Civil Rights Protests, and because her thesis at Howard was about life through the eyes of a black man. They were going to pull back the scholarship but there was some controversy over that. So she gets into college, and she thinks she knows enough about being black that she could do more good for civil rights as passing. She eventually passes well enough and does enough good to become the president of the NAACP in Spokane, and she had done so much civil rights work I always wonder. Does what she did invalidate her work as a Civil Rights Activist? Also, if someone wants to pass as black, what causes that? Is it a fetishization of their race? Or is it like a mental issue?
