I listened to the Leslie Stahl episode of WTF today and there was a good point in there I didn't realize. Watergate took like... 3 years to come to full fruition. She and Bob Woodward were the only two press in the very first courtroom appearance of the burglars (before anybody knew what was happening). And the story almost died like 100 times but kept resurfacing... each time closer and closer to Nixon. So if you ever start to get depressed and start nothing mattering... just remember how long Watergate actually took to happen!
