I asked the chart creator on NeoGAF about his list methodology and why World of Final Fantasy wasn't there, this was their response.

quote:

No, these are announcements made throughout an entire year.

Normally most of MS's announcement are just at E3, but Sony has 2-3 events per year.

As for why WoFF is excluded, if I were to include every single game announced the list would be too long, so I made my own creative decision to limit the number of 3rd-party games included. Only those that are major/lifetime exclusive/etc.

Look, the dude has lovely views, no debate. But it seems this method only creates more Notch-esque people and further emboldens the shitheads. People who spend all of their time in front of a computer (making a computer game requires a lot of time doing this) instead of going outside and dealing with other people tends to increase the chance of having terrible political views. What did he used to say? For as long as I've been watching the Jimquisition, he's been pretty consistent in his views on things. The most he's said is he has some issues with some of the stuff in Anita Sarkeesian's videos, but he followed that up by saying the Gamergate crowd has basically made it impossible to ever really have that discussion

He was never that bad. I think he made some transphobic jokes and said some slightly right wing stuff about 10 years ago. He says he changed his ways after he (jokingly) called someone a feminazi slut and got called out for it.

No, but you can make it clear that those toxic views don't deserve the platform or publicity that Microsoft seems (seemed?) willing to give them.

As I said before, he's had no shortage of opportunities to confront and own his terrible behavior BEFORE this game got a spotlight at E3. He doesn't seem that deterred if he's making an entire game centered around his ridiculous and absurd political beliefs.

At that point you need to ask yourself just what Microsoft is willing to put out there as far as games publishing is concerned if these types of faux-intellectual screeds against women is something they want to slap their name on, it's not like he's been closeted about this at all.

Or maybe he couldn't confront it because the internet creates intellectual bubbles that insulate people from self-actualizing because there's no shortage of people to surround yourself with that immediately agree with everything you say? So what you perceive as a universal standard of morality (and for the most part, I'm sure I'd agree with) is harder to reach and influence people like this guy in a way that they could really think this through? The vast majority of the Internet is misinformation and bullshit presented as truth that it's created a shitton of people with idiotic views on society. I mean, look at Notch and his lovely views combined with his billions in our hosed up faux-meritocracy society where the majority of Americans see wealth as a natural indicator of a person's value. There's greater structural problems here creating these views that hounding one random guy on Twitter every couple of weeks is never going to resolve or even convince these people their views are wrong.

Based on the mmo-lite cliches and that Destiny exist. I am going to claim is some mix of Wildlands with Destiny, with a bit of Titalfall and another bit of Fallout for good mix.

Please reply namedroping at least 5 other games or genres.

Holding off on any judgement on Anthem because that trailer was pretty much the same as The Division and Destiny and those are kind of slogs. Maybe it'll be different but all I'm picturing is late game Divison enemies where you have to shoot a looter in a beanie 50 times in the head to kill them
