Structurally it was fine, but conferences are judged mostly on the games and they just had little to show this year. It happens to every company, and it's very far from the worst they've ever had.

They showed games for an hour, but they weren't goon games (underage panty shots, ironically bad) so it was pretty garbage. David Cage's might fix either of those though tbh.

I think they got dinged on sticking to AAA for the main show and showing all exclusives except COD and Destiny 2, which are franchises that a lot of people like but aren't huge draws from people around here, myself included. Like, I'll play COD but I'm not excited for it like I am Wolfenstein 2. MonHun World caused me some serious hype but the pre-show had more games coming out this year that are exciting to me.
