If I can get to the last round, I'm usually golden. Got three teams that can usually handle it, and I even managed to avoid losing anyone a time or two. It's the leadup that gives me trouble. As long as the A team is intact through round five, it's managable, but once they get ganked... I don't build my backup teams for endurance. Plus, Nino and Robin pull functions my other units can't make up for.

I hope we get Aversa as a blue (or red) tome flier from a Grand Hero Battle. in fairness a +spd -def takumi is reasonable and i didn't have him yet so while i am still angry, waifuless and not spending money on this game for several months, i am not going to outright quit or anything e: also if they ever add a trade function i have some spare bridal lyns to go to a good home in exchange for cordelia

Going to skip that banner. Katarina is cool and all, but there are two more red focus units on that banner and between Tharja and Celica I really don't need another red mage. Cool though that there are now more sources of Swift Sparrow and Wo Dao.

Am I interpreting that correctly that the -Ploy abilities have infinite horizontal/vertical range? Because I'm picturing them on a narrow map like Veronica's, and that's...a little unnerving.

Threaten was p mediocre so something like this is possibly a pretty big improvement. The drive skill also stands out a bit to me. They may stay away from combining hone skills though cause of blade tomes. Man the art is really bad this time though except for Katarina I guess. Finally at 40k. I'm glad that I'm going to get the seal, but I'm probably not bothering with those orbs. They should have had a score multiplying flags system for the tempest just like they do for the gauntlet to make the grind less boring. Adding daily/weekly quests for the flags would have also been nice to break the monotony.

Julia and Reinhardt sweeps almost every map (saving their specials for the toughest enemies), and Tharja primarily exists to heal everyone else with renewal and reciprocal aid.

I just noticed something weird. I thought merging units only passed on inherited skills they had learned. Yet, my Olivia still has the Brash Assault I picked up just cuz and never bothered to learn. Also I just threw Reinhardt and Super Olivia along with Eirika and Nino at the Arena and boy what a difference having two magical nukes instead of one makes! I'm back to Tier 17 this week and before my usual team was having trouble clearing more than one or two matches, and I never did manage to get a deathless run last week. Team Rein blasted through three no problem! I'm going to test how they do on defense.

So I just took a look at the hero list specifically to learn what rarities units can be pulled at and Cherche can be a 3* pull? The gently caress? I still haven't seen one at all, yet I have five loving 3* Arthurs. I could really use a few sources of pivot for Zephiel and other armor units I might pull in the future.

 No where as bad as a World Tournament in DBZ Dokkan Battle. I still have 80 stamina potions left. Tips for the Tempest Trial: 1.) What's the best team to use if you want to consistently beat all seven lunatic levels, achieve the best survival/speed ranking, and defeat Veronica? There's no fullproof team because the mode throws crazy stat and skill combinations that'll even wipe whales. Horse Emblem can run into Azura and mages running horse slayer tomes on a map with trees and valleys. Some of the maps, such as the one square valley or the arena with barricades, can spawn ranged enemies that made initiation very difficult. The closest I've gotten is with a team comprised of Deathblow Reinhardt, Desperation Nino, Desperation Tharja, and Ruby Sword Olivia. The map and enemy pool favors high damage magic units with Blade/Dire Tomes. They can burst down units with two consecutive hits and have a dancer support them. I've had runs where the only damage was received on purpose to get Nino/Tharja in the desperation range. The team's weakness was high RES units such as Felicia and Niles. Wary Fighter Hector could also be a problem, especially if he spawns on the last map. This was where Olivia came in to either tank or do chip damage. Due to its very strong core, the team is quite powerful even if they lose one unit. 2.) What should my team combination be if I want to maximize my score? Team A (If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....): - It needs to be able to get through the first six levels very quickly and have a decent shot at Veronica. Your composition will depend on your pulls and skill inheritance setup but I recommend a mage heavy + dancer setup that hits hard and fast - Use reposition to initiate or to get units out of danger. It can be combined with dance/draw back to great effect. Works best on a three movement cavalry unit - Common threats (for my teams) in early stages were Wary Fighter Hector, Firesweep Faye, Genny with Wrathful Staff, and anyone with movement assists, especially if they have huge stat inflation - If you have her, I recommend Tharja as the 40% bonus unit. Her blade tome is quite good even at four stars and she can do very well in the last map. Lucina is also good as a heal bot and fighter - AoE attacks like Blazing Thunder are useful here since enemies tend to clump up, especially on the last map. Remember to save charges at the end of a round since they carry over to the next  Team B (Veronica Hit squad if Team A wipes on the last map) - You'll need a team of four that can perform multiple roles at the same time and support each other - Red Triangle Adept (Sanaki can solo the last map if it spawns with enough green units) or a good anti-Veronica red unit - An Anti-cav specialist. F. Robin/Ursula/Cecilia are great for baiting and taking out the mounted mage that spawns on the right of the last map - An Anti-Armor unit. Draug is the easiest to deal with due to his low RES but Gwen and Hector can be a problem if they have wary fighter - Tank for the melee Cav/armor and colorless units. Xander and Camus are free units that are great in this role. - Healer if you expect to take hits. High damage bow unit if they have spawn with low def bow or mage unit Team C (I died on stages 1-6 and need a cleanup crew) - Whatever is needed to finish the map without using up Team B units 3.) I finally made it to 50K points and got Quickened Pulse. I can't believe it's all over. What do we do now? What do you mean? Now we can finally play the game.

Looks like my cordelia is +atk -def, so death blow here i come. Sorry hawkeye. So now that i have 20k feathers again, who should i promote? I have only one 5* caster (ursula), a couple 5* swords, lances, and axes, a thief (ty about the jakob advice. I think I'll work on him), and a healer (my opinion of my WoM lucius has changed. He's not terrible.) My options: +spd -def cecilia +spd (i think) -res tharja +atk -spd nino Neutral (i think?) Xander (I'm nowhere near a horse emblem yet) Or level my alphonse or anna a bit and get another sword or axe (i don't think i really need one) I also don't have a lot of dupes right now, but i do have one or two tharjas and cecilias around i could feed those two to start +leveling them. E: also, oof. Looks like i have to mulch my 4* 40 shanna for desperation 3. Kinda stings, but i haven't used her in a long while. All to make a better lance flier anyway. Though i guess i could throw her at tharja? Don't think it's worth it though. E2: dark horse: i could upgrade a bunch of 3* sources of important skills (seal speed for jakob, a few draconic auras, etc.) Instead of a 5*.
