Samus Returns seems mostly complete by the looks of it. This game was well into development when AM2R dropped last year.

Yeah it looks a little better later into the game but still kind of I dunno... dull? They made the metroid battles seem fun and interesting, at least. On the other hand, they are way longer now and the thought of doing them 40 times seems like it could get tiring.

AM2R is really good and Samus Returns also looks really good. The melee counter looks like a lot of fun.

Yeah it looks cool, I guess I'd still have preferred 2D but that was never going to happen. It might be MercurySteam but it's them working under Nintendo and they've turned poo poo into gold before.

It was a weird E3 because a ton of good stuff was shown by all but there were no real bombshells, which is always a letdown. Like the biggest surprises were probably Xbox backwards compatibility, Shadow of the Colossus Remake and Metroid Prime 3 which would easily have been the biggest thing if they had a single thing to show what so ever. Oh well. Tons of good games to play and it's not like my current backlog isn't already insane. Really, I don't need much more than Mario Odyssey coming out this year.
