The traditional story of the Yuki-ona is generally met with tragedy and misfortune. In many cases the betrayal of trust from the humans and a shunning of the Yuki-ona. Maybe Kuromine can change it around like how it was for Demi-chan ga Kataritai's Yuki.

I have to wonder what would happen if he changed the future though- like it or not, it's the things that happened in the past that have shaped the cute idiots we left behind in the present day. I just can't see the author throwing away 170+ chapters of development if all he's going to do is handwave it away in a 'The Future Consented To Change' ending.
