Do I need to finish all of HW stuff before I can dive into Stormblood or is just finishing the 3.0 storyline good enough? I'm somewhere in 3.3 or 3.4 I think. I just killed Nidhogg.

You'll have to finish the rest of the post 3.0 MSQ questline to get into stormblood content, unless you want to pay for one of the skipping items. You don't have a ton left, maybe a few hours if your gear isn't in bad shape or you have people to run you through the dungeons in a premade group.

I just caught up to MSQ. I can't believe even the credits rub in Haurchefants death by having it be the last voice credit and way seperated from the others.

My only disappointment about the knoweldge we have of Stormblood is that the critical hit limiter will still exist on Barrage.  Hopefully it will be able to Direct Hit at least.
