So Nuclear Pokemon, on top of their altered typeline, also have a different palette (and occasionally sprite edits).

Shiny Pokemon differ from regular Pokemon due to their different palette.

Is it possible to (if the 1/4096 chance is hit) find a Shiny Nuclear Pokemon?

Nuclear Pokemon do have separate shiny sprites.

I'd ask if the difference was replacing the green with light blue (as a nod to how in real life significant amounts of atomic radiation give off a blue glow rather than the green seen in fiction), but that would be giving the developers way too much credit.

The colors are essentially arbitrary.

Palij and Pajay have nuclear sprites, even though their nuclear forms never appear in the final game. Pajay's uses an older design and lacks a shiny version.

That is somehow still more effort than I thought they would do. Would be a pleasant break from the endless black/green shared by every nuclear type outside of Hazma, at least.

Yeah, the Nuclear Gyarados is a special 1/off encounter during the... second? meltdown.

It also doesn't follow the normal rules for Nuclear pokemon since it obeys you innately like Nucleon and Top Boy Hazma.

Nuclear Magikarp is only available while fishing with the old rod at Nuclear Plant Omicron. As you can imagine, there's no real reason to do this.

Besides the two forced battles, Nuclear Gyarados is there as well, through surf or the super rod.

Why would you not want Nuclear Magikarp? A radiation-powered berserk murderfish that can only uselessly splash around is the only genuinely funny idea, however unintentional, that this game has produced thus far.

They really should have added a second e to make the name easier to pronounce correctly.

Inflageetah. Although, that is 11 letters, so it is too long. You know what? Maybe just get rid of these altogether: name, Pokemon, and game.

If it was supposed to be a hard g like "conflagration" then it should've been inflagretah. As it is, the infl- part makes me think of inflate and I always think it's some sort of balloon pokemon.

This so much. The spritework is lame, but the name is so much worse, and depressingly it isn't much below par for Uranium's pokedex. I have trouble remembering what most of these pokemon are because their names are labored or boring or hard to parse or bland. Hazma is not only the best boy because he's a lizard in a Hazmat suit, it's because I see the name "Hazma" and I GET what it's telling me.
