They got Sagat's voice actor to voice Thanos and he sounds pretty cool, that is the only amount of good voice acting they could muster up for this game. Part of the reason why people are making GBS threads on these games so much is because, get this, they also really like fighting games and are genuinely disappointed when Capcom shits things out like sfv and now mvci which appears to be comparable in quality. Nobody is stopping you from enjoying flawed or even bad games cams but there exists opinions more nuanced than "lmao i just buy and enjoy stuff i like well cya!!"

Anyway, the worst thing about capcom recruiting "trusted" players to talk up their stuff isn't that they change peoples minds, rather it silences these players ability to be critical of these games. It's probably no mistake that capcom only started to really push this strategy after SFxT.
