In my experience a lot of those dudes are not good riders and the mods they make to their bikes only make things worse. Those of lesser ability or simply trying to enjoy there trip are only in harm's way. It impresses nobody, and is simple obnoxious. If the Crawl ever ends, this will be the lone reason. If you're in this classification of rider, either go out as your own group and impress each other, or preferably, don't come at all. Did the guy filming the second video even attempt to stop? And wouldn't you learn not to drag your feet to stop after a week when your shoes had no soles? I'm going to make it a mission to avoid groups of grom riders whenever possible.

Seems like these dudes have these things sitting in the cupboard most of the time and just dust them off when it's time for a meet up the same way you would with a guitar or something. All the tyres will certainly be flat too.

I know that "run what ya brung" is a big part of the Nurburgring's thing but allowing bikes and cars on the same track -- let alone a serious racer on an S1000 alongside a bunch of tourists in lovely little VWs and stuff -- seems monumentally stupid.
