Why is being detached vs. attached so important for you? I'd personally rather have attached, all other things being equal, so I can wander into my garage in my undies or whatever without worrying about neighbors or the weather if I want to. Plus carrying in the groceries is pretty nice in an attached.

GoT is a great watch. It's got to most cinematic type feel that I've ever seen in a TV show and I love that no character has plot armour and can die at any time so a simple fight between a main character and a nobody can kill the mc and swing the story in a different direction.

After retracing my steps and vehicle movements I realised that the last time I came home in the car I had been to the supermarket on the way home from work so this was totally feasible, so I emptied my chest freezer but found only breadcrumbs, peas and loose fish fingers at the bottom.. So then I spent an hour tidying the workbench in the garage and pulling it forward incase they had slipped down the back. They hadn't (but its now much tidier which is a good thing) Then I combed the entirety of the area between my parking spot and back door and checked my entire drive and all other vehicles. spog posted:they are in the pocket of some trouser/jacket that you swore you haven't worn for 3 months Holy poo poo! - Well done! I used to watch Walking Dead religiously (well, binge watch as soon as it was on Netflix) but after that season with the jail it just basically rudderless and I still haven't watched any of the last season that Netflix got last year. Pretty sure I will eventually though. Just watched up to episode 3 of GoT and so far, so good. Certainly good at making some of the characters more likeable than others.

Also a guy driving some white truck like hot rod that looked exactly like Boyd Coddington. Coddington himself died in 2008.

The brake lines? Everywhere. I've replaced all the fronts on my midwest 01. The rear I still need to do, maybe this summer... They'll rust out a little before the body most likely. My wheel wells and cab corners are starting to get a bit ugly.

Well, no problem at the DMV so I'm clear there, but in other car news: gently caress me. Looks like the wife might end up driving the Silverado. I noticed a little antifreeze smell from our '04 H6 Outback this week, and sign of some splatter from the overflow bottle. Levels were normal, but I saw a couple bubbles after running errands this morning so I borrowed a block tester. It didn't get much yellower but that ain't blue. Looks I get to do some head gaskets. Hopefully I caught it early early enough so I can do this a controlled manner.

Rhyno posted:So. I still want an Evo. But maybe I should broaden my car buying horizons? Should I go back to the suggest a car thread? Or stick here and get the best feedback from you guys? The car thread wouldn't be bad to ping ideas from but they're answer to almost everything is buy a Prius. Bounce the question around here too. The real answer is M3. No care what year, but you want an M3. Just drive one and you'll understand. I don't know what Evos are going for these days but when I looked at them they were still LOLmoney expensive and while a pure driving car they seemed pretty terrible to live with. Check your insurance rates too. Even responsible old Rhyno could still be expensive. Since getting my E90 I can't think of what I will ever go to next. It will have to be a Porsche or a GT-R. I'll probably skip the Datsun because it's ugly. The Porsche doesn't offer much in the way of utility for me with having small kids. The M3 is everything I wanted it to be. So I say M3 or a 996 Porsche 911 (turbo if you can swing it)

I bought my M over an STI or mustang because insurance made it a no brained. In retrospect I wish I would have got a z06, that would have suited me much better. The M cars are much more of compromise cars at their core.
