Its interesting that all the Tory chickens are coming home to roost. They obviously would eventually because you can't cut every vital service without damaging millions of lives, but also the Tory ability to sweep things under the rug and control the narrative is now actually making things worse for them because it means they've spent nearly a decade dodging responsibility and never actually fixing anything.

Also fuckin' at the fact Brenda just headed down there and had a chat while May was pissing her big girl knickers over security.

Best they've got is maybe David Davis and Amber Rudd, who are the least-bad but still seem like they'd struggle to inspire any confidence I was thinking today that Philip Hammond was the obvious successor; he's very boring, which is probably the sort of thing the Tories need. You can sell boring as competence, perhaps.

You can sell boring as competence, perhaps. I'm not sure you can now, they need someone new with integrity and with some relatable offers to the public. They don't have anyone remotely like that to my knowledge though. The smart thing to do IMO is to ditch May, call an election, lose to Corbyn and let him do Brexit etc. From the Tory perspective 5 years of Corbyn will be a disaster the electorate will be screaming for rescue from by 2022. The problem is they seem to think Corbyn is a genuine communist who will put them all in gulags and confiscate their second (third, fourth) homes.
