From my build thread....I couldn't have been more wrong. Miss working on the thing but so much going on lately it's crazy. Work busier than normal, wedding/honeymoon planning, house shopping and everything else conspiring to keep me from the race car. Got 3-4 hours of stuff done this week, pretty sad.

I'm way behind on GOT, watched season 1, 1st episode of 2 then random episodes from various seasons when I'm bored at a hotel. It's on our list to watch at some point, maybe this winter or something. We usually watch lighter stuff like Rick & Morty, Adventure Time, Regular Show, Archer, Futurama and Gravity Falls because apparently we're kids.

Savannah weekend starts in a few hours, at least one day on the beach at Tybee Island. Any recommendations? Probably hit the Heroes of Bavaria exhibit at the BMW Foundation in Greer on the way back Monday. Looks like a nice collection of cars.

Why is being detached vs. attached so important for you? I'd personally rather have attached, all other things being equal, so I can wander into my garage in my undies or whatever without worrying about neighbors or the weather if I want to. Plus carrying in the groceries is pretty nice in an attached.

Attached vs detached doesn't matter at all but no one down here has a 4+ car attached in our price range. Even McMansions down here are lucky to have an oversized two car attached. We want an attached to park the daily drivers and have space for the gym stuff. Right now weights are garage, cardio is 2nd bedroom and we can't park daily drivers in the garage. With a 2nd garage I'd have a place for projects and the M-cars. Right now I have three in the garage and four cars outside which isn't ideal but I live in the country so no one complains.

I know selling off a bunch of cars would fix all this but that isn't likely to happen unless I leave the country

GoT is a great watch. It's got to most cinematic type feel that I've ever seen in a TV show and I love that no character has plot armour and can die at any time so a simple fight between a main character and a nobody can kill the mc and swing the story in a different direction.

After retracing my steps and vehicle movements I realised that the last time I came home in the car I had been to the supermarket on the way home from work so this was totally feasible, so I emptied my chest freezer but found only breadcrumbs, peas and loose fish fingers at the bottom..

So then I spent an hour tidying the workbench in the garage and pulling it forward incase they had slipped down the back. They hadn't (but its now much tidier which is a good thing)

Then I combed the entirety of the area between my parking spot and back door and checked my entire drive and all other vehicles.

God this show is garbage. I am usually able to get into and enjoy most modern TV shows if I watch a few episodes, but this one just pissed me off so much. I was actively rooting for basically all the characters to get eaten, and quit a few eps into the second season. Show should've been called Unnecessary Forest Drama, or maybe The Talking Dead.

Its the lines going to the rear. Just check them for rust and report back. I dont think its a recall but there was a class action lawsuit.

The car thread wouldn't be bad to ping ideas from but they're answer to almost everything is buy a Prius. Bounce the question around here too.

The real answer is M3. No care what year, but you want an M3. Just drive one and you'll understand. I don't know what Evos are going for these days but when I looked at them they were still LOLmoney expensive and while a pure driving car they seemed pretty terrible to live with. Check your insurance rates too. Even responsible old Rhyno could still be expensive. Since getting my E90 I can't think of what I will ever go to next. It will have to be a Porsche or a GT-R. I'll probably skip the Datsun because it's ugly. The Porsche doesn't offer much in the way of utility for me with having small kids. The M3 is everything I wanted it to be.
So I say M3 or a 996 Porsche 911 (turbo if you can swing it)
