Not that he can really take much credit when he hasn't done anything to change then since taking over.

Oh dear me posted:In the 1980s Thatcher took power from local government, cut their funding, rate-capped them, centralized business rates, introduced penalties on those which spent 'too much' and compulsory competitive tendering. Thatcher vacillated inconsistently between trying to neuter local authorities by fiat, and trying to neuter local authorities by competition/further devolution subject to constraints calculated to yield particular outcomes. this is only confusing without a realization that the goal was not some ideological preconception about appropriate degrees of local power, but instead about achieving mandates for particular policies, regardless of the level of said mandate the TMO concept was a Thatcher idea, for instance - part of the quasi-privatisation of council housing stock

I think the issue is that he's seen as being part of the establishment by nature of being Mayor. So people are angry at him, in part because he's in a position of power, in part because he has information that he can't or won't share.

As such, I doubt that you have anything to worry about.

But then again I do love a good conspiracy theory. Well yes, of course. I am not disputing the heat of the sun. Rather, I am just pointing out that people seem to be confusing the human organism's tolerance to solar electromagnetism and simple temperature, with the implication that different ratios of melanin sub-types in the skin afford increased protection from both, as opposed to just the former.

All the numbers floating around are really vague. The only quote the BBC has for the number of people living in the building is "400-600" (no loving way the council doesn't have a much more accurate number than that" and Kensington and Chelsea LBC says it's relocated "109 households" in hotels (which could be anywhere between 200 and 400 people). It's pretty clear that they don't want people doing their own maths of "x residents - y survivors = z victims".

This was the protest at whitehall today, it was modestly sized and peaceful, there were quite a few police about but they just kept back and watched. At one point Paul Golding walked past flipping off people, a crowd of people split off, glitterbombed him, then followed him until he had to be bundled into a police van.

Thread hijack, but read, download and crack on, it'll give you an 1hr of background music as you discuss the upcoming revolution. It's also because you fuckers are on the ball, so I'm wanting to make you smile. About 4 years ago I managed to get my hands on a broken Sony Tapecorder (reel to reel) TC-355, shitloads of cleaning, WD40 and tinkering later, it was up and working. I then ended up buying some random reels from ebay/car boot sales and discovered the following. A recording of BBC Radio 2 Ballroom from a Radio 2 FM transmission (I guess 1974-75) with Edmundo Ros. I've encoded it at 16bit 44K 320kbps, I do have a 24bit master, please download and enjoy, there is a bit of FM stereo interference in the "theme from the Godfather" but it's minimal. Overall, It's bloody marvellous.. and 43 years old. It's hosted by Tom Edwards https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Edwards_(broadcaster) who I contacted back in 2013 but there was no reply. I also contact the BBC, no reply, hey ho, their loss. I have no idea if the BBC still have this recording in their archives, nor if they care or not. I just know one thing, it's bloody marvellous. Please download and enjoy. BT Radio_2_Ballroom_1974.mp3 (on my google drive, 133Mb, 58m 23s) https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3eK5aU03K2BUGRlYXAwS00yOFk/view?usp=sharing THERESA MAY COULDN'T EVEN loving PLAY THE TRIANGLE.
