Just do it. Get it done so they can focus on either Tax Reform or The Wall! Maybe I’m being greedy and unrealistic, but I want at least one of these three things done before the end of THIS year. Replacing ObamaCare, Tax Reform, starting on The Wall and increased Border Patrol.

They only want the mandate gone, not the actual provisions of the bill. So as long as there's no way to pay for it, they're a-ok with the ACA. The best part of this is how the GOP is timing the end to ACA provisions so it'll mostly happen after 2018 and even beyond so the next House/admin will take the blame when people suddenly realize all their protections have been eliminated.

If people are afraid to take positions or do the right thing because of death threats then the gov should take those death threats seriously and lockup the threateners. In this day and age with all the technology it should be easy to find them.

Burger King had the “Pride Whopper”, and I stopped going there. The Pride Fries seem to be restricted to local stores in SF and DC, but the national org is funding the march.
I am conflicted, as the local McDonalds’ are owned by our State Rep, who is a pretty sound guy in his votes.
Lowes’ supports Planned Parenthood, but the local Lowes’ donated paint and other things for the new Crisis Pregnancy Center. I figured that more than cancels out the PP donation as far as the local store is concerned.

These places are having a hard time as people become more health-conscious and have less money to spend anyway. All the fast food chains seem to be Hispanicizing their menus to deal with the fact that more and more customers (and US residents) are not “burger types” (white people).
I used to love this stuff, but as I get older I have less of a stomach for it. I’m pleasantly surprised at how few young people I know even eat it (or even drink soda, for that matter).

You panic, and try to move forward before they reach the sides of your van. You cut a quick right and plow into a pack of “protestors”.
Now pretend you are a semi-drunk plumber in London just leaving a pub. You live in an area that is not “highly integrated”, rather it is balkanized by British hating Sharia Law muslims. You already know the news about the attacks by such radicalized muslims, and many of your friends have already been attacked or verbally as well as criminally abused by these Sharia Law muslims. You of your Brit brothers in the Navy was beat up coming out of a pub by such muslims for the crime of drinking a beer.
You drive out of the parking spot down a street and there is a huge pack of muslims in night shirts and caps. A pack of them fresh out of a sermon during Ramadan that was about the evil drinkers of beer. They saw you come out of the pub.
Four or five of the muslims start to try and surround your van and are shouting in Arabic (which if translated means you are guilty of the crime of drinking a beer during Ramadan).
They try to rush at your van. You are half drunk. You get very concerned and step on the gas and then next thing you know, you plow into some pedestrians who are also Ramadan muslims.
… or … it could be two or three Brits who have had so much poo poo from these people and one of your friends has a sister dead, murdered by radical Islamists in London. And the authorities are not really protecting you.
And London isn’t “highly integrated” – rather, it is highly BALKANIZED.
By the way, the plowing didn’t happen outside the mosque. It was outside, near, a Muslim welfare building.

I drove a taxi in New York city for 10 years and the Pakis were the absolute worst, just utter psychopaths driving. The would cut your throat for a penny. Anytime there is an accident in NYC with a taxi, 99 times out of 100 the driver is a Paki.. They were just utter lunatics, cutting off other taxis to pick up passengers then driving 100 mph so they could pick up as much as possible. They were absolutely insane. I was waiting on line once at Madison square garden with a bunch of other taxis and this one Paki decided he didn’t have to wait on line, so he pulled to the front and parked alongside the first taxi and wouldn’t let him pull out unless he handed his passenger over. So then it got to this big fight, everyone got held up, one guy took the Pakis keys and threw them down the street then the Paki pulled a knife out chasing the guy around his car, they were just THE biggest problem out of that entire job, I cannot stand those mo fos. They ARE the absolute epitome of a culture that does not integrate with US society, they have absolutely zero respect for other people.
