Wasn't there some dumb FIFA requirement from the last WC or Europe League that shirtbacks had to be a solid color so they could be seen more easily on TV?

We have a new shirt for the gold cup and it's wrong for many reasons, including: the horrible comb sash, it is blue and we should never wear blue. I thought real bad shirts were par for the course in CONCACAF? It's also possible that the Tico federation has a worse logo than the older US one.
