I'd like to know where these fat cat trans patreons are at, since the top 10 comic patreons has just one trans person. Unfortunately creators can now turn off how much they're making, but #1 was Jeph Jacques of Questionable Content, who (when last available) was making just shy of $10,000 a month back in January. So uh, I guess Ben is living up to his hero, being insecure as hell and lying his rear end off.

QC has a trans character as the love interest of the main character, so maybe that's who he meant? I don't know why I still read QC; apparently, growing up reading newspaper comics means I need to have at least one strip I follow where nothing ever happens, and Sluggy Freelance finally fell below even my terrible standards

Also the one trans comic patreon in the top 10 was only making roughly three grand as of February. That's only $36k a year before taxes, something you can live off of but hardly the six digit figures Garrison is talking about.

Some context- Zinke is the Interior Secretary. He is following an executive order to shrink/revoke bear's ears national monument status, which was of course, granted by Obama.
