Anyone know anything about getting a bedroom air-conditioned? I'm really tempted after how little sleep I got last night.

Air conditioning is a luxury you will only want at most 1-2 weeks a year.

I found a way of keeping the bedroom cooler is to turn off any devices like the TV etc a good hour before going to bed.

TV, Monitor and modem radiate a lot more heat than I thought

Squeeze the juice outta your lemon(s)
Fry the garlic and zest and basil and parsley and avocado briefly
Grab a lil' bit of the water you boiled the spaghetti in, add it to the lemon juice, dump it in the pan
Decant the spaghetti into the pan, cook for a bit
Serve with diced feta and a poncey glass of white wine made by those funny continentals
Eat in your garden with the sun going down

And for the record, 2 each of bacon, sausage, eggs, hash browns. Enough beans to make a meal of the hash browns and your toast. Fried tomato. Black pudding. Coffee, and lots. Done.

Buy a free-standing unit for about £80, run the vent out of your window and a short length of hose into a bucket for the by-product water. You can get them with an internal tank, but then you're looking at moving a very heavy large thing around when it comes time to empty that tank.

Good god no. OK, the short days get a bit much, but in summer this far north it's not quite perpetual daylight, but it also never gets darker than twilight. Meanwhile in winter I can go out at 5pm & just stare at the stars and god they are so pretty. It's not so funny when you live in the city, but oddly for person with depression I tend to get it worse in the end of summer, start of autumn than I do in the depths of winter. But people who do have SAD, obviously it's balls.

Are you not allowed to just run the hose outside too instead of using a bucket.
