not really. i wanted the preds to win but didn't really give a poo poo in the end. it's just an objective fact that rinne is a much better goalie than fleury, and that fleury is a mediocre goaltender.

Cam Ward is the only reason Carolina won in '06. Yeah he got bad almost immediately after, but he was lights out during the run.

if it makes you feel any better, Niemi was nearly as bad in '10 with a .910 SV%. and Quick in 2014 had a .911 SV%.

Rinne is a career 917. Fleury is a career 908. Pittsburgh defeated Nashville, therefore they have the superior team. Rinne's stats are better behind a worse team, ergo Fleury blows.

Hey Krime, there's an alleged sell sheet going around for the Vegas team store that says the authentic-level Adidas jerseys will cost $200 blank or $265 customized. That line up with anything you've heard? I mean if that's true it's basically $100 cheaper than they were this season.

Based on bookings and the catalogue the prices were expected to come down from where they were. I'm really curious what "Authentic" means to Adidas retail. Reebok had Retail authentic made in the Philippines that didnt have reinforced elbows and other minor changes and then the on ice authentics that were made in Canada that you kinda had to luck into.

You sound like those dumbasses who argue that one guy with 1000 pts and 4 cups is a better player than a guy with 1600 and 1 cup. This Penguins team could have had a number of goalies in the league that are about Fleury's level of talent (or slightly worse), they still would have won the cup because of their fantastic forward depth. If Fleury's really better, ask yourself if he still would have won the cup if he'd been Nashville's goalie and vice versa with Rinne.
