We weren't going to trade him last year or the year before that. Now that the team might actually break up, we'll move him and his bird rights to another team if the offer is right. I have no idea how that is worse than letting him go to the Mavericks for free.

All days are nights to see till I see thee; and nights bright days when dreams do show me thee.
So that means the Hawks didn't even call Dwight before letting it go to Twitter. Classy. Or Dwight did get a call and forgot.

As gm of the wolves I would have done #7 for Russell and Deng. Probably not Mozgov.

The importance of this mission cannot be overemphasized
Clippers sounding out the DeAndre trade market is just sensible due diligence. They either have to run it back with CP3 and Blake on max contracts and go hard into the luxury tax for a good but somewhat underwhelming team OR you blow it all up in which case DJ is their only real asset that they could sell for picks or young guys. If you think there is a chance one of CP3 or Blake leaves in FA then you may as well go for slash and burn and retool from the ground up.

They're going to be crazy thin on the wing and at PG unless they hit on both their picks, but it should be interesting. Dwight helps fix one of their biggest issues, offensive rebounding, and I think they'll get back to top-10 on defense. If Frank and MKG show any growth, they could get back to the 48-win range they were at in 15-16.

They were kind of doomed when they bottomed out and didn't land a star, but I'm ok with decent for a while. The way the contracts work they can do a hard reboot in two years if things get bad.
