The woman in the comments below that is excellent. IT'S NOT A PROPER JOB HE HASN'T GOT A PROPER JOB IT'S NOT A PROPER JOB. Like jeez how can you be so detached from how our government and politics actually work... E: Feck, um, 583 - Emperor Maurice decides to end the annual tribute to the Avars, a mounted people who have swept across Russia and threatened the Balkan Peninsula. They capture the cities of Singidunum (modern Belgrade) and Viminacium (Moesia). DeadButDelicious fucked around with this message at 08:49 on Jun 21, 2017 |

Just driving by to see these blatant attacks on the American diet which I will admit can be lethal or at best misguided but I recently tried marmite for the first time and sweet Jesus that stuff tastes like battery acid you put on toast. Probably healthier though I may accept if the facts back it up. I haven't looked at the nutritional contents.

A while back an attempt was even made to introduce chocolate cheese spread. I remember being given a a sample to try in the supermarket, my visible grimace probably upset the brand rep.

That's very close to some thinking I had the other day. Then I realised I can totally pass on that. Radiohead was also my first ever gig, so it's fairly exciting. Whimsicalfuckery posted:Chocolate and cheese go well together, decided a crazy person one day. I remember having this, but I've no recollection of what it was like. Chocolate and Stilton go together surprisingly well, I went to a beer/cheese pairing at Meantime and their chocolate porter went amazingly with stilton.

Also chocolate cheesecake is delicious if you make it right, you heathens. I tried the Marks & Spencers one at one point and it's the best produced version you can buy off the shelf.

I hated it until I deliberately set out to acquire the taste for it when I was 17 or so. The trick, as pointed out above, is to start with a thin film of it and plenty of butter. e: also applies to the post above

Keto is good for dropping fat but it's insanely expensive and you'll have a lot of weird meals. It also doesn't go well with weightlifting. Its also very difficult to do properly.

Oddly enough marmite is a godsend if you're cooking veg food. Lather it over TVP mince etc before cooking (I use a bit of soy sauce and liquid smoke too) to really get the umami meat substitutes tend to be short on.

Yeah, this. I tried it a few years ago and I became stick thin, but it's not much use for anything else, and it's a real bitch. You may also give yourself gallstones. It should really be an absolute last resort.
