I've gotten in the habit of telling people "don't touch that loving radio until we are about to leave" every time I'm in a cabin with radio. I also play as a very mean AJ and tell people to go gently caress themselves routinely. Especially Chads.

Was it Lastdancer I yelled "gently caress you Chad!" to in the woods the other night? Who then proceeded to survive until the round timer by being the most chaddiest of chads

During a game last night I got grabbed by Jason in the first 2 minutes. I probably could have broken free with how weak Part 8's grip strength is, but a very vocal 12-year-old shot me right out of his grasp. After being killed shortly after, he proceeded to get chosen for Tommy Jarvis immediately.

The rest of the match turned into all the dead players rooting for Jason from the afterlife, begging him to kill Tommy Jarvis as he ran past the gas can multiple times and did nothing to help everyone else who was being slaughtered. He got into the two-seater by himself and managed to get lost and crash near the dock at Higgins Haven before finally being killed.

It was a total wipe but we didn't care because Jason killed the kid who hosed up everything. Said Jason was also good enough to Shift through a shotgun blast and grab the last survivor.

Is there anyone else on here who plays Xbox? I played one round last night and after coming from Steam it's nigh unplayable. I feel like it hits 15-20 fps at all times, and for some reason the networking always feels far more glitchy and unpredictable, despite the fact that my desktop PC is on a wireless connection and my Xbox is plugged into the router.

Like, it's not a graphical powerhouse or a gigantic MMO or anything, so I am left to assume that these devs are in way the gently caress over their heads with this game.

Yeah Xbox is clearly far behind in 3rd place in quality. There isn't really a redeeming quality to it, other than it's the system that I play it for... and I'm really cool :unsmith:

the Xbox One version is so bad that they continuously issue apologies to Xbox players, culminating in the recent "mea culpa" post from a few days ago. it makes no loving sense to me why they are having so much trouble, the thing's just a windows box with fixed hardware, they probably wrote it in C# to begin with what's the issue here folks

not that the PC version is that much better, if you don't restart the client regularly that loving memory leak gets you every time, sucks when you're Jason

Do Jason's not use morph over short distances? People are always hella shocked when I morph a little up the road they're running on and then use shift to end up right in front of them. Or morph to outside a building they're in. How are people using it?

short morphs are Jason 2's bread & butter, they're very unpredictable and once you learn how to quickly orient yourself on the map you're a teleporting monster. Shiftgrabs are for noobs, real pros morphgrab

I love playing as Savini because everyone's always "OMG LOOK AT THAT" but I would much, much rather be rolling with 8, 7, or 3. Savini is a chump against slightly organized campers.

I bet in a highly organized goon match I'd get like one kill versus the 8 I can pull off with Jason 3.

So don't feel bad, anyone who missed out. Savini is probably the worst Jason. You're much better off looking at him and hearing his cool music than playing as him.

The best part about this is that the Steam forums are still full of people bitching about not having Savini Jason. I mean, he looks cool but he just doesn't seem that great to me.

Basically this.

If I hadn't sold my PS4 a couple months back, I'd have probably picked this up on PS4. Although it seems like a pretty good split with my friends on both consoles so eh.

It's certainly janky on Xbox comparatively, but I've still had a blast with it and will probably spend my weekend screaming at my console for crashing and loving me out of my double XP.

Good times.

poo poo yes. Jason VI can't run for poo poo so if I'm chasing people I'll morph straight over to mess them up. Generally of you spook a flock of councillors they'll run for a cabin, so just warp over to the first cabin on the map you're pointed at.

Yeah, there's a real bad memory leak problem that fucks us Xbox players up. I was CONVINCED it was my internet too until they released a statement.

Do you want to know the terrifying truth, or do you want to see me sock a few dingers?!!
I'm on Xbox because I tended to play my 360 more than my PS3, so I had more digital games to migrate over. I used to play PC exclusively until I converted to Mac due to my line of work. I miss being a part of the master race sometimes, but I game so little these days that it doesn't really matter anymore. This is the most hooked I've been on a game since the Arkham games.

Funnily enough, I only knew about this game because my horror fanatic friend was a backer on Kickstarter and gifted it and Savini Jason's to me and another friend. Yet I'm the only one who actually plays it with any frequency.

Being on the west coast I don't usually get on until many of you are done for the day, though. But when I do those are the best games.
