Finally got to play NES Jason with a full house....and as soon as I killed the first person everyone disconnected except 2 people. I still managed to hunt them both down. For the first one she managed to escape to the boathouse on Crystal Lake after knifing me, so I teleported to the other side of the boathouse and turned on Stalk. I waited just around the corner, and as she slowly jogged away thinking she was home free I stepped out and grabbed her to punch her head off.

I had a good connection, but I couldn't get the game to recognize that I had a right stick. Playing the game as a counselor who can't move the camera around at all is about as much fun as it sounds.

I Shifted into a room full of armed people and it turned into a messy Mexican standoff with everyone hitting each other. The guy with the gun managed to miss everyone while I slashed away.

Why?) Also, must have been a lag glitch, but just saw Retro-Jason loving FLY through the air to shift grab someone. That was loving hilarious

Once in a while if you use Stalk you can get close enough to a whole group of like 3 or 4 counselors to actually hear them planning poo poo, then shift right into the middle of them and they completely lose it because there was no music cue to warn them. That's really the best use of Stalk, counselors are mostly smart enough now to know that if you're on their rear end the music going away doesn't necessarily mean they're safe. But if they never saw you in the first place....

The only thing I don't like about NES Jason is that his weapon strength makes it so that you also want to be hacking people apart, which is disappointing from both perspectives. It feels so much better to get a cutscene.

I was like, uh, what did you want me to do when I was surrounded, let you get the kill?

Other than using it to break down doors faster not particularlly, can be handy if you're tying to hack sombody to death and they keep running around you in circles since i believe if you lock on you will home in on them?

You can block being knocked to your knees after having the sweater used on you if you were blocking when they used it. No that doesn't make any sense.

I'll go into combat stance as Jason if a counselor gets suitably courageous and challenges me when they're backed into a corner. Had one Deborah yell "come get it then FUCKER" when she was trapped in a cabin - had to appreciate that sort of spark in a victim, so let her clock me after I hit her twice.

I really appreciate counselors who try to fight Jason. They're mostly crap, but yesterday we had a game where we just kept wailing on Jason and knocking him down or stunning him until the timer ran out after almost 2 minutes. I got to knock him out with a pot today but forgot to come up with a pun to yell.

If I'm successful at "beating" Jason I'm usually too pent up for anything witty and just scream for the rest of my team to leg it.

It just so happened that I ended up escaping 5 times before getting slugged in the back of the head by a bat.

I let people hit me if I'm standing in a doorway in one of the one-door cabins. Always a little fun watching them trying to run past, and they wasted their flare gun.

Every pun has to be a variant of "ice to meet you" just because it makes no loving sense and Jason just gets confused. "Pan to meet you" "Bat to meet you" "Stick to argh gently caress it he's got me run"

Had my first Jason round earlier today and man it's harder than it looks. I have no idea how other players seem to have such an easy time grabbing me because I could barely get anyone, and it probably didn't help I got put with pubbies who'd actually work together. In the end only got 3/8. Rolling with Jason 6 might not have been the best idea for my first round as him. Also had another round where I almost escaped for the first time in the back of the 4-seater, but Jason stopped the car, and as we all piled out to stun him for a bit I died to an axe swing that wasn't even aimed at me On the other hand, earlier in the round an AJ tried to bait Jason to me, but hiding in the closet actually worked for a change! The AJ bailed out the second story window, Jason didn't think to Sense for anyone else in the cabin and went down to finish her off

I appreciate that AJ is the only victim here. Honestly, I think having that high a stealth with such decent composure makes her more irritating than challenging. Trying to wait out the timer rather than escape "legitimately" drags the experience for everyone.
