Emelin and Sbisa going UFA after a season, while getting draft picks for two lottery teams next year? I get it. I can't say that I agree with it (no attack, no chance), but I guess it makes sense in a way? Competitive in 4 years versus competitive in 2 seasons, though.

GMGM has to be nice because he has no alternative to trading over the next few years. With no pool of prospects he's going to make a dozen trades over the next couple years, I'd guess. Other than waivers, he's kinda at the mercy of the other GMs until he has a few years of draft picks.
