oddium posted:in football they're called coaches i think it's basically gambling. you pick a guy, he accrues points based on how well he does in real life, if he doesn't play games he doesn't accrue points (i.e. due to injury), at the end of the season the person with the most points wins. you can manipulate your bets during the season by trading players and that's about it. i only participated in a fantasy football thing once when a distant old college friend invited me to draft a team which i did, then promptly forgot about for something like 6 months at the end of which i was informed i had won the tournament also not to play fantasy football again

hot tip for chumping Mr. Shakedown with Majima: neutral Slugger HEAT action, while it animates hammer the Up button, as soon as you get into Thug start hamming Triangle, you should end up with just enough HEAT to do the "punt like a football" HEAT action. rinse & repeat. it's real easy.

I just finally got around to playing the Plague Knight campaign in Shovel Knight. I was never as blown away by Shovel Knight as other people seemed to be but man the Plague Knight campaign was real good and I think I liked it more than the normal game. I like that at first it seems way WAY harder but as you get some new abilities and get used to the controls, it turns out to be way easier and it almost feels like you're cheating your way through most of the levels and bosses.
