After thinking about it, I realized that Strome was the 5th overall pick in 2011. Nuge was the 1st overall pick, Klefbom was the 19th and Larsson (who Chiarelli traded for) was the 4th. Clearly Chiarelli believes that the 2011 draft was the best draft, thus why he keeps acquiring players from that draft in lopsided deals.
